    I have such a problem.
Just got new VAIO with two graphic cards (integrated and discred)
When I work with discread everything is ok.
But Geforce 640M LE simply doesn’t work
Even when I try to use NVidia panel – it crashes (in the option where moving logo displayed).
Games can’t be launched. When I try to use it – it shows the messege DISPLAY DRIVER STOPPED…. so on.
I just don’t know what to do. I already downloaded new drivers, then old one, then beta drivers, then resumed the system at all… Everytime the same error.
    It makes me sick

Running Windows 8 Pro 64bit. Had this problem with a Geforce 470 so I upgraded to a 660TI and the same problem happens. In my case, I can get the error just by launching task manager. Most games run fine but have had freezing issues from time to time with Hitman and Call of Duty Black Ops 2. Did a clear install, used drive sweeper to clean out. Running latest driver 310.90. Had the same problem with the previous driver.
